After a few weeks of cleaning up things for the new year I am finally to a point of making a new post on JakeLudens.com

I have been in the process of simplifying everything at home and work, or for a lack of a better description, life. This year has already been full of changes. Work has gotten more focused and that has been huge. I think everyone gets to the point of having so much to do that nothing actually every gets accomplished.

However, the big focus has been to finish up all the random things that have been on my To-Do list at home. I recommend to everyone to take a full week of doing nothing but odds and ends around the house, this is huge in simplifying your life. I was surprised about how good it felt to clean out and consolidate all of my email accounts. They now all feed in to one place and I don’t have to log-in to 5 accounts. Yes I have more, but 5 is what I am trying stick with this year.

The next big task is to get in the habit of posting here as often as possible, not that anyone really wants to read about what is new with me, but rather for myself to take a few minutes and have one complete thought per day. For anyone that has a blog that would like to post in the same way, let me know I will be happy to add you to the blog roll so we can group together all of our complete thoughts. Who knows, we might just become one consciousness….
